Movilo® in the Orthopädieschuhtechnik 10 | 2024

In the October issue of the trade journal Orthopädieschuhtechnik (Orthopaedic footwear technology), we at DARCO present our new series of therapeutic comfort shoes Movilo®. In an interview, our product developers Thomas Dietrich and Regina Felix-Pöckl, together with scientific development partner Prof Dr Markus Walther, explain the challenges and the development process of the new comfort shoes.

The Movilo® comfort shoes combine a modern, sporty design with orthopaedic functionality and are ideal for patients with conditions such as hallux valgus or metatarsalgia.

Thanks to an innovative two-layer insole system and a specially developed roll-off sole, the Movilo® offers optimum comfort and individual customisation options. Developed in close collaboration with leading specialists and orthopaedic shoemakers, the shoe fulfils the highest therapeutic requirements and at the same time offers an attractive alternative to conventional custom-made orthopaedic shoes.
