Air Pump Walker® | Lower Leg Foot Orthosis
The new Air Pump Walker® lower leg foot orthosis by DARCO offers a high-quality and customisable solution for patients with foot and ankle injuries. With its stable frame construction, air padding and perforations for air circulation, it enables targeted immobilisation with simultaneous mobilisation. It supports and protects the ankle and ankle joint to ensure the healing process and alleviate discomfort.
The lower leg foot orthosis is easy to use and can be put on and taken off quickly. The integrated pump system ensures individual adjustment and additional comfort. The precise fit and the adjustable hook and loop straps ensure secure stabilisation.
The outsole of the orthosis has a non-slip and shock-absorbing TPR tread with a biomechanically optimised ball rocker for secure gait and high traction in everyday life. The ergonomic design offers high wearing comfort with flexible calf cuff, ventral cover and hexagonal pads for immobilisation and additional padding of the ankle joint.
The orthosis is available in five sizes, each in a tall and short version. Additional heel wedges are used in the Air Pump Walker® Achill version for individual Achilles tendon relief. All versions have a universal fit for right and left.
