Fußnetz Bayern (Bavarian Foot Network)
The Bavarian Foot Network was founded to create a common platform for all people affected by diabetes, diabetic foot syndrome, Charcot arthropathy and polyneuropathy. But also for all those who care for these diseases. Patients and their families should be able to find qualified foot care consultants, doctors, podiatrists, orthopaedic shoemakers or care services in their area. General practitioners who recognise the condition but do not treat it themselves can find out which specialists can provide the best care for their patients. Above all, however, the Bavarian Foot Network wants to do one thing: better protect those affected from the serious consequences of these diseases.
DARCO is a supporting member of the Bavarian Foot Network. Together we want to combine our activities to improve the care of people with diabetic foot syndrome throughout Bavaria.
