Description
The DARCO Posterior Splint Fix foot-positioning orthosis was developed by renowned foot and ankle surgeons and master orthopaedic technicians and adapted to the individual needs of patients and providers.
The 110° variant offers a fitting option for Achilles tendon pathologies and 20° angle of plantar flexion. The three elastic and freely positionable hook and loop fasteners fix the foot optimally in the orthosis.
Its greatest strength is its simple and extremely time-saving handling. After the dressing of the surgical wound, the positioning splint is applied and fixed with the three straps with hook and loop fasteners. This eliminates the need for tedious and time-consuming plastering or the heating and modelling of a splint and significantly reduces the cost-intensive operating time!
